Prior to Ceremony
Your photographer will make every
effort to attend your rehearsal. This is important because attendants and family tend to be more at ease with the photographer on the day of the actual ceremony,
having met previously. (Photos of the rehearsal are at an additional charge and
will not be taken of the rehearsal unless specifically requested). On
the day of the ceremony, your photographer will arrive forty-five minutes to one hour prior of the processional in an attempt
to capture all attendants in preparation of the big event. Should you have special
concerns, please do not hesitate to call.

All ceremonial locations and clergy
members have individual, specific guidelines
(in some cases very strict rules) regarding photography
during the ceremony. Please be very specific regarding what is allowed/preferred,
with your photographer. In most cases, photos are allowed during the ceremony,
as long as there is no flash; the flash is believed to detract from the religious aspect of the ceremony.

After Ceremony
After the ceremony, it is customary
for the coordinator or clergy member to announce that guests are invited to move to the reception area or remain behind for
photo opportunities. This tradition is strictly the decision of the united couple.
This photo session normally takes
approximately 15-20 minutes, depending greatly on the number of guests and attendants involved. This procedure is preferable to most photographers because it provides optimum opportunity to capture photos
of all attendants so that requested group photos are achieved prior to the reception and/or departure.
Please ask that someone (perhaps
the clergy member) announce that all family members and all attendants are requested to stay behind at the ceremony site for
pictures, prior to the reception.
